Hands-on Cadaveric Dissection workshop by the department of ENT
The Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, has conducted a two-day comprehensive hands-on cadaver head & neck dissection workshop on the 15th & 16th of August, 2025.
This head & neck cadaver workshop is the first of its kind in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The highlights of the workshop include the live cadaver procedures and lectures on applied anatomy, surgical techniques, and equipment for head & neck surgeries. Questions & answers with experts and opportunities for postgraduate students to enhance their surgical skills.
A total number of 36 faculty and 25 postgraduates have participated from the medical colleges from 2 states, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
Dr. P.S.N. Murthy, the most senior ENT surgeon and retired principal of our institution, was appointed as observer by the A.P. Medical Council for this workshop.
A.P. Medical Council has awarded 4 credit hours to those who participated in the workshop.
