Anti-Ragging Measures:
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the campus and outside. The UGC Regulations on “Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higfher Educational Institutions, 2009” (as amended), the MCI (Prevention and prohibiting Ragging in Medical College/Institutions) Regulations 2009, shall be applicable. Students found indulging in ragging in any form will be liable to be expelled from Institute as per regulations of Statutory authorities.
In addition, it will be the duty of every student noticing such an event (ragging) to immediately report to the authorities/ Resident Warden. All fresher students are instructed to report any incidence of ragging to the authorities at the earliest.
A copy of the Anti Ragging framed by the statutory authorities is available below. All the students are instructed to read them carefully and abide by said regulations strictly. Any violation/deviation shall call for stringent disciplinary action as laid down in the said UGC and MCI regulations.
In addition, National Medical Commission(NMC) created dedicated Email ID to lodge the complaints with NMC i.e., antiragging@nmc.org.in
