The Department of Cardiology was established in the year 2007 and was fully functional from October 2014. DM Cardiology course was commenced from the academic year 2017.

We feel very happy to place on record that Dr. Sridhar Chivukula, a well-known cardiologist, has joined our institution as an assistant professor on 10th February 2026. He has vast experience in angioplasty and coronary angioplasty and performed more than 2000 procedures with a very high success rate. Hope that the public will make use of his services.
