The department of Pathology and Transfusion Medicine has conducted a CME on “Transfusion Medicine Update 2023” and a workshop on advanced “ IMMUNOHEMATOLOGY” under the aegis of Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine on 22nd and 23rd July 2023 at Drs Sudha & Nageswara Rao Tele Medicine Hall.
Keeping in view the rapid developments in Transfusion Medicine and the challenges encountered in the routine practice of Transfusion services the CME and Workshop were organized, with well designed scientific Programme with interesting Topics.
Eminent faculty have handled the topics Dr. Ankit Madhur, Scientific Secretary “AATM”, Dr.Arun.R, Head of the Department of Transfusion Medicine, AIIMS, Bibinagar, Dr. Nanda Kishore,Transfusion Medicine Consultant from Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad and Dr. Chaitanya Kumar I.S, Assoc.Professor and I/c Head of Transfusion Medicine AIIMS, Mangalagiri shared their knowledge regarding the latest trends in Transfusion Medicine and IMMUNOHEMATOLOGY.
About 540 delegates have attend the CME and 80 faculty attended the workshop from different medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
The AP medical council has awarded 3 credit hours for CME and another 3 credit hours for the work shop.
