CONVOCATION DAY-2019
College convocation Day for the 11th batch MBBS students and 7th batch postgraduate students was conducted on 20th March 2019(Wednesday) in the college auditorium at 10:30 AM.
Chief Guest, Director General, Principal, Medical Superintendent and all the Head of the Departments in ceremonial robes marched on to the Dias lead by police band, on red carpet, which added to the colorfulness of the day.
Dr.P S N Murthy, Principal presided over the function. Dr. B N Chander, Medical Superintendent and all the Head of the Departments were present on the Dias. Dr.P S N Murthy delivered the president’s speech and welcomed all the guests and parents.
Dr.C. Venkateswara Rao, M.S, M.ch, MBA (Hospital Administration), P.G. Diploma in yoga, Vice Chancellor, Dr.N.T.R University of Health Science, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh was the Chief Guest.
Dr.C Nageswara Rao, Director General of the college ordained and administered oath to the students. He also introduced the Chief Guest.
Degree and Medals were presented to 153 MBBS students and 25 Postgraduates from different branches. Students receiving medals and certificates in ceremonial black gowns and caps is a scene to watch.
Dr.C. Venkateswara Rao, Vice Chancellor delivered the keynote address.
Dr. Sajana, Professor & Head of the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology compered the proceedings.
Program ended with vote of thanks by Dr.B.N.Chander, Medical Superintendent and police band played National Anthem.
All the new graduates and their family members enjoyed the program with fervor and gaiety.
At the end of the program, lunch was served to all.
