The 22nd Inter Collegiate Games Meet for Women 2021-2022 of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, was allotted to Dr.Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation to conduct from 18th August to 20th August 2022.
Dr.Shyam Prasad Pigilam, Vice Chancellor of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada was the Chief Guest of the event and addressed the gathering. He assured that attendance will be given to every participant taking part in any sports events organized by Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences.
Dr.Chadalawada Nageswara Rao, President of Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education (SAGTE), Sri.Paladugu Lakshmana Rao garu, Secretary, SAGTE were the Special Guests of Honour. Dr. Chadalawada Nageswara Rao, President of SAGTE advised participants to balance the sports and studies and improve health & excel in medical profession.
Sri Paladugu Lakshmana Rao, Secretary of SAGTE assured to provide monetary support for development of sports infrastructure & sports activities in all the institutions of SAGTE. Both have wished all the participants best of luck in the tournament.
Dr. P S N Murthy, Principal has greeted the participants and wished their stay at Dr.PSIMS & RF will be comfortable and memorable. Also he told that all the staff of Dr. PSIMS have strived to make best arrangements to the possible, though the rain troubled for the last three to four days and wished all the participants to put their best performance to win.
Prior to this, all the participants from various colleges have presented march-past and dignitaries on the dais have taken the salute.
Nearly 603 sports persons from 25 Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS have participated in the events (Basket ball, Vollyball, Throwball, Table Tennis, Ball Badminton, Tennis, Chess & Badminton).
