To provide accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic services essential for patient care

  • ๐Ÿ“š Educational Innovation:
To promote critical thinking through integrated teaching and modern pedagogical tools

  • ๐Ÿ” Research Advancement:
To contribute to medical science by exploring disease mechanisms and improving diagnostic methodologies

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Historical Background

  • ๐Ÿ“… Inception (2003):
The Department was established in the year 2003 within the General Hospital, with the aim of strengthening diagnostic services and medical education.

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Growth & Expansion:
The Department initially functioned in a 1,500 sq. ft. area with a core faculty of one Associate Professor and three Assistant Professors. Over the years, it has shown significant growth in infrastructure, manpower, diagnostic capacity, and academic activities, evolving into a comprehensive teaching and diagnostic unit.

๐Ÿข Infrastructure & Spatial Distribution

The Department presently functions across two well-defined wings, covering a total area of 9,200 sq. ft., ensuring optimal integration of academics and clinical services.
