๐ฏ Vision
To be a Center of Excellence in Diagnostic Pathology and Medical Education, bridging basic sciences and clinical practice through innovation, precision, and compassion.
๐ฏ Mission
-
๐ฌ Diagnostic Excellence:
To provide accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic services essential for patient care -
๐ Educational Innovation:
To promote critical thinking through integrated teaching and modern pedagogical tools -
๐ Research Advancement:
To contribute to medical science by exploring disease mechanisms and improving diagnostic methodologies
๐๏ธ Historical Background
-
๐ Inception (2003):
The Department was established in the year 2003 within the General Hospital, with the aim of strengthening diagnostic services and medical education. -
๐ Growth & Expansion:
The Department initially functioned in a 1,500 sq. ft. area with a core faculty of one Associate Professor and three Assistant Professors. Over the years, it has shown significant growth in infrastructure, manpower, diagnostic capacity, and academic activities, evolving into a comprehensive teaching and diagnostic unit.
๐ข Infrastructure & Spatial Distribution
The Department presently functions across two well-defined wings, covering a total area of 9,200 sq. ft., ensuring optimal integration of academics and clinical services.
