As a part of the celebration of 75 years of Independence with the Slogan “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” given by Honorable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi Ji, a plantation programme was organized in association with the Income Tax department of Vijayawada circle on 21.09.2021 in our campus.
About 250 saplings of different fruit bearing plants were planted in our campus. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Vijayawada Sri CH.Omkareswar, Sri.M.Anil Kumar, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Sri.M.Sampath, Commissioner of Income Tax, Sri.Y.Sesha Srinivas, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax and Sri.B.Suresh Babu, Joint Commisioner of Income Tax have planted the saplings.
Sri Paladugu Lakshmana Rao, Secretary, Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education, Vijayawada, Director General Dr.C.Nageswara Rao, Principal Dr.P.S.N.Murthy, Medical Superintendent Dr.B.Anil Kumar, other Teaching staff and Non Teaching staff have participated in this programme and planted the saplings.
