The Department of Pulmonology at Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation (DrPSIMS & RF) provides comprehensive care for patients with respiratory diseases while adhering to quality and patient safety standards.

Modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities like bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy,FENO,FOT, and spirometry are available to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective management. The department also actively participates in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research activities, and community health initiatives aimed at improving respiratory health.

The Department of Pulmonology provides evaluation and management of various respiratory conditions including:
* Bronchial asthma
* Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
* Tuberculosis and post-tubercular lung diseases
* Interstitial lung diseases
* Lung infections and pneumonia
* Pleural diseases including pleural effusion and pneumothorax
* Lung abscess and bronchiectasis
* Respiratory failure and critical respiratory conditions
* Sleep-related breathing disorders
