RADIOLOGY

The Radiology department was established in August 2002 with a single 160 MA machine to begin with. However with increase in patient load and establishment of medical institute 2004. The department was equipped with modern and advanced equipment complying both with MCI requirement and patient aspirations.

The following Radio Diagnosis equipment is in place.

  5. Sinogram and fistulograms
  6. Hysterosalphingography
  7. RGU & MCU
  8. Venography
  9. Percutaneous nephrostomography
  10. Other special investigations.
  11. Ultrasound guided: Aspirations, FNAC, Biopsies.
  12. CT-Scan: Routine and CT guided Biopsies and CT Angios.
  13. MRI: Screening and special sequences, inclusive of spectroscopy and Diffuse Tensor Imaging.

PRESENTATIONS AT NATIONAL MUSCULOSKELETAL SOCIETY MEETING

Dr.V.Sandeep, Professor of Radiology has made presentations on 3 topics at the National Musculoskeletal Society held at Jaipur during the 3rd Week of August’2024. He also participated in the Panel Discussion on SERONEGATIVE ARTHROPATHY with Rheumatologists.

He also conducted the prestigious Dr.Kakarla Subba Rao Memorial Quiz.

About 650 delegates from 14 nations have participated in this conference.

APPOINTMENT AS ASSOCIATE EDITOR OF INDIAN JOURNAL OF  MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGY

Dr.V Sandeep, Professor of Radiology of our institution was appointed as “Associate Editor of Indian Journal of Musculoskeletal Radiology”.

Faculty, Principal, Director and Director General of our institute have congratulated Dr.V.Sandeep in this regard.

10th APIRA, NELLORE

(August 30th to September 1st’ 2024 )

Dr.V. Sandeep has presented 2 topics at the annual state conference “10th APIRIA” at Nellore held during 30th August to 1st September 2024.

He also presented a lecture on safety in MRI Abdominal and Pelvic MRI in paediatrics on 1st September 2024 in the same conference.

Dr.V.Jagadeep, Senior Resident of Radiology has presented a lecture on Abdominal Imagining under the “YUVA FACULTY” session at the same conference.

Our 2nd year PG Radiology student Dr.Hurunnisa has won 1st Prize in Paper Presentation at the state conference.
