11th SEPTEMBER 2018

A Cadaver is the first body upon which students lay their hands. The student Cadaver relationship stabilized on humanities can serve as a simulator for future doctor-patient relationship. Students are made to recite the oath to obey the promise for handling their “first teacher” of contact with respect and dignity. They promise to abide by the oath with compassion and empathy. This calls for the ethics and attitude to be incorporated into the Anatomy curriculum in phase-I of MBBS course. The batch of academic year 2018-2019, 1st year MBBS students, new entrants into medical college were fortune enough to undergo this experience and had the opportunity to pay their respect and homage to the deceased who are still living to provide the medical knowledge and expand their professional goals. The occasion was graced by our Director General-Dr.Chadalawada Nageswara Rao, Principal-Dr.P S N Murthy, Medical Superintendent-Dr.B N Chander and Convener of MEU-Dr.D.Ranga Rao hosted with respect from the faculty of Department of Anatomy.
