OPERATION SMILE PROGRAMME
(30th Nov 2019 to 8th Dec 2019)
The operation smile programme for surgery of cleft lip & cleft palate is scheduled to be conducted in our institution from 30th November 2019 to 8th December 2019.
A press conference was conducted on 28th November 2019 in college council hall where in all the electronic and print media people attended.
Director General Dr.C Nageswara Rao, informed the press members about the significance of the programme and informed them that all the surgeries are performed free of cost and free accommodation with food also provided to the patients and two attendants. He also added that since 3 years, we have been conducting the programme and last year 99 surgeries were performed.
Dr.P S N Murthy- Principal, Mr.Bhaskar-Programme Co-ordinator, Mrs Roberta from USA wing of Operation Smile and Dr.B N Chander-Medical Superintendent also participated in the press conference.
Principal Dr.P S N Murthy requested the media persons to give wide publicity to the programme so that a large number of cleft lip & cleft palate patients can be benefited
