A project proposal with the title: “Design and development of portable Bio-medical device for early detection of breast cancer using near infrared optical imaging” is submitted to the department of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi by the faculty of our institution and V.R.Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.
Dr.C.R.Mariappan, Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication, V.R.Siddhartha Engineering college is the Principal Investigator and Dr.Asha Parveen Sayyad, Assistant Professor of Community Medicine and Dr.Y.Mary Chaitanya, Junior Resident of Community Medicine of our Institute are the Principal Co-investigators.
